LAUNE ANGLERS WATERS AND BEAT 3

Water level has come back up again but still very suitable for fly and spinning.

Lots of fresh fish entering the lower river off each of the tides.  The angler who was in the right place at the right time met fish.  There were twenty fish reported from Laune Anglers waters for the week.  Even this writer had his first fish of the year a lovely sea-liced grilse of 6 lbs. on Thursday.  Despite the improvement there are anglers still waiting to catch their first fish of the season.   There was no news of fish from Beat 3 the lower sections of the river are doing best.
