RIVER LAUNE BEATS 1 AND 2

1 fish weighing 7 lbs. caught.

LAUNE ANGLERS WATERS AND BEAT 3

Water level has fallen but still very suitable for fly and spinning.

A much better week I know of five fish for the week from Laune Anglers waters, mostly over the weekend when angling effort was high.

The slight fall in water seems to have facilitated better fishing

This writer at last met a fish a small grilse but lost it.

RIVER FLESK

3 fish caught for the week.

KILLARNEY LAKES

1 fish caught on the lake for the week.

RIVER BANDON

Sea trout fishing fair, with the rise of water last week salmon fishing for the start of the week was excellent with 14 fish landed.  Good numbers of fish seen moving since the water levels have dropped so has the fishing effort.  All fish caught were of good size with average being 6 lbs.

RIVER LEE

The best run of fish seen on the lee since 1975 with all anglers catching fish with the majority of these being fin clipped
