RIVER LAUNE BEATS 1 AND 2

No reports of any catches water levels very low.

KILLARNEY LAKES

No reports of any catches with water levels very low.

RIVER LEE

8 fish caught at the weir mainly on shrimp the largest weighing 15 lbs. and the rest between 8 lbs. and 10 lbs.

RIVER BANDON

4 fish reported last week with an average weight of 6lbs. between Ballineen and Innishannon.

LAUNE ANGLERS WATERS

Just two fish to report for the week from Laune Anglers' Waters but this is an improvement. Water not great but as one of my informants put it, but it was good enough for Grilse. Fair fishing effort over weekend, two people fished Johnstons from 2 pm to 8 pm and not a touch and they did not see anyone with a fish or meeting a fish. We still need some serious rain to bring more grilse into the river.
